T20 World Cup 2012 fixtures and groups
ICC T20 world cup 2012 starts from 18th September 2012 onwards. Sri Lanka will host the 2012 T20 world cup. Schedule for ICC T20 world cup 2012 had already been declared by the ICC. There will be 27 matches in the tournament which continues on September - October this year. All matches will be day night in India. There will be group stages, Super 8's, Knock outs or semifinals and finals. The finals of ICC T20 world cup 2012 will be on October 7 2012 held at R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo. There will be 12 teams which are divided into four groups in the tournament. First group includes England, India and Afghanistan. Australia, West Indies and Ireland on second group.
